Breathing LED Using Raspberry Pi 4 B

Aim

The goal of this activity is to demonstrate the use of the PWM signal of a Raspberry pi 4B board. This PWM signal allows gradual increase or decrease of power supply to the LED.

Materials Required

  1. Raspberry Pi 4 B -1    
  2. Breadboard – 1
  3. LED -1
  4. Several Jumper Wires   
  5. 220Ω Resistors – 1   
  6. Type-C USB Cable-1

Desired Outcome

The LED will switch on and it will gradually brighten to a high and slowly fade to a low.
