IR Receiver and Controller using Raspberry Pi 4 B

Aim

The IR receiver should be ready to receive the signals. Take the remote controller provided in your kit and press the buttons to get the following result: 1. Press 1 to switch on the first LED, the leftmost one. Press 1 again to switch off the LED. 2. Press 2 to switch on the second LED, the middle one. Press 2 again to switch off the LED. 3. Press 3 to switch on the third LED, the rightmost one. Press 3 again to switch off the LED. 4. You can switch on and switch off any of the LEDs, not necessarily in sequence.

Materials Required

  1. Raspberry Pi 4 B -1    
  2. LED’s-3
  3. IR Remote Controller – 1   
  4. IR (Infra-Red) Receiver – 1
  5.  220Ω Resistors – 3
  6. Several Jumper Wires   
  7. Type-C USB Cable-1
