Aim
The goal of this activity is to demonstrate the use of a simple mechanical device in a digital environment.
Materials Required
1. Arduino UNO R3 – 1
2. USB Cable – 1
3. Breadboard – 1
4. LED – 1
5. Tilt Switch – 1
6. 220Ω Resistors – 1
7. Several Jumper Wires

Desired Outcome
When the breadboard is held in horizontal position, the tilt switch is in vertical position, and therefore the LED is switched off. When the breadboard is held in vertical position, the tilt switch is in horizontal position, and therefore the LED is switched on. This demonstrates the need for a mechanical movement to complete a circuit
